The Crawley Town Supporters Alliance would like to announce that Hugh McKinney has taken on the role of Fan Representative for the CTSA.
Whilst McKinney was the only candidate, he brings a wealth of experience and skills to this very important role. He has been a supporter of Crawley Town for nearly 15 years, attending many home and away games often alongside his son. Hugh’s background is in politics and policy, advising Ministers, Heads of State, CEOs and company boards both globally and in the UK. He has also had experience working with his childhood football club, Dumbarton in Scotland, advising their board on a range of issues.
Hugh adds “I am delighted to be elected to this role to ensure that the interests of the supporters of our great club are best represented. I look forward to working with all Crawley Town supporters in an open and transparent way”
Reuben Watt, Chair of the CTSA, extends this welcome to Hugh by saying “Having worked and communicated with Hugh over the past few months, I know that he will be able to make a massive contribution to the CTSA and Crawley Town Football Club. He brings a wide range of skills, working closely at board and director level at many businesses and organisations.”
Hugh’s first engagement in this role is the meeting with Chris Galley, which took place on the 16th February, and the minutes from this will be released shortly.
